This LAPG TBFK comes with S35VN steel -- and I'm inclined to believe it's more or less the best value purchase into a "premium" steel you can find (aside from perhaps the M390 Dividend). Understand, this IS a Chinese knife. No, it's not WE/Civivi/Kizer levels of fit and finish, but it's more than serviceable.

Saw this YouTube video from EDC Gear Reviews (he was previously called something like Knives, Guns and Gear) where he shows a knife from LAPG, that is made in China, apparently has a blade made from S35VN steel and is sold for $35. I'll say it loud and clear - I don't believe this knife really has S35VN steel blade.
